100 word statement Communicate through model making Model making allows designers to visualise their ideas and thoughts which enhances the level of communication throughout a project. This is evident in our week 5 onward course work as we first constructed a scaled sketch model of our room and improved it using other materials to ultimately construct an expansion of our room. We were also introduced to digital 2.5d and 3d model making through Fusion 360. The features on Fusion 360 allow us to construct models effectively through laser cutting and 3d printing. With the aid of technology we are able to test out different material combinations through Photoshop. Model making made the communication of ideas convenient as present our ideas via a multi-modal platform. word count: 117 words Best models:
